Zikar is a song about devotion, memory and emotional void, and the video follows one image: a man submerged in a bathtub among floating candles. The story is a three-act arc, from lighting the spark to waves putting it out and a quiet return to the opening frame.

I handled the art direction and storyboarding, planning each shot around that arc. On set I designed the lighting using matches and candles as the key light, with a faint background fill to keep faces and hands readable in the dark. A torch added sharp reflections on the water surface, and we shot splashes and flames at high frame rate for a slow, heavy feel.

In post I created the VFX for the video, including beat-synced light flickers and a layered “ghost” effect in the drowning sequence. I also designed the cover artwork and the Spotify Canvas, so the visual identity stays consistent across the release.
